Tix only $10 for two dynamite shows! Get ‘em NOW at www.iowatix.com

The show will start after the conclusion of the highly acclaimed Cell Block Sirens of 1953. CBS1953 starts at 8 pm, with the Strick9 crew taking stage post-curtain call. $trick9 and The Truth, aka, the Disciples of Destruction, the Glad-Handed Avengers, the Rule of Thumb Brigade is bringing their loudest, most outrageous show to fruitition. THIS IS NOT A SHOW FOR CHILDREN. Some of the most diabolical acts will be performed in front of a live audience. In typical $trick9 form, what begins as a hip-hop/funk/rock musical will slowly degenerate into a Mexican goat show.

Mo’ About Cell Block Sirens of 1953….

They’re women! They’re in prison! And they’re doin’ a musical!

What could be better than women acting like animals in prison? How about men in drag playing women acting like animals in prison? Cell Block Sirens of 1953 is a spoof of women-in-prison B-movies and contains all the prison movie clichés, from a prisoner befriending an animal to the hair-pulling cellblock riots. Full of campy with catchy songs, this show contains strong language and is definitely not for children.

The Viking Theatre Box Office is located adjacent to the Viking Theatre, inside Grand View College Student Center. The box office will be open one hour prior to show.
